Statement of Faith

Beliefs

💜God is one God composed of the Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit. He is present, personal and active in our lives and is ministering to us in the same way He did throughout the New Testament and ministers through all of the gifts listed in Scripture. 

• For there are three that testify 1 John 5:7
• But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]. John 16:13 

💜The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness

• All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 2 Timothy 3:16 

💜Prayer is essential for intimacy with God and must be at the core of who we are. I believe that God’s power is unleashed through the prayers of His people. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
